  • Kenny Watts - Cool Mag

I like this magazine, but it makes me want to go to ALL the places it shows you and I don't have the. Money!

  • Amazon Customer - Take it with a grain of salt.

I had a reoccurring yeast infection and the meds my doc prescribed 4 times weren't working. I was desperate to kick it so I read this and tried my best to adopt the changes in my diet. I was already gluten and dairy free so on one hand, it wasn't that hard to eliminate all sugars from diet - as suggested in this book. Other changes were harder to do: the food combination thing drove me nuts. I don't live in a bubble world- I live with two young children and a husband. And we eat with friends and family often too. Eating meat is allowed (no pork) (I don't know why) and eating red skinned potatoes is allowed (also confusing to me since all other potatoes are not allowed.) But you can't eat them both at the same meal which just drove me nuts. And she recommends no meat for dinner meals so I could eat the potatoes ...and veggies at dinner. And that was so unsatisfying...I'd end up over eating because I was just not feeling full at all. But then I was full on starch and it was so gross. I started eating meat for dinners because high starch feeling is gross to me. I also started gaining weight because I was just hungry all the time and the things I COULD eat I would over eat. I am sure some people have more will power than me but it was very unrealistic, for somebody who is social and who has to maintain a healthy diet for her 4yo and 2yo (they see what I eat and I want them to have a good relationship with food and it was confusing for them to see Mama not eating all that was served at dinner...) Also, my yeast cleared up by using Boric Acid suppositories after 4 months. There are some red flags in this book that make me think I don't trust Donna. (for example: she highly promotes colonics and she thinks rebounding is best for exercise....like she's stuck in 1981.) Then there are other things that are brilliant and great (like stevia and kefir.) So that is why I gave it 3 stars. Take it with a grain of salt and trust your gut. Like anything, all is good in moderation and this book is so strict ...it is kinda a joke. But if you can find pieces from it that work for you- great!

  • Amazon Customer - it's really surprising because at day 5 and 6 my skin was horrible; dry and darker due to the irritation

I just used this for a week and finally see the results...my skin is getting brighter and softer now...it's really surprising because at day 5 and 6 my skin was horrible; dry and darker due to the irritation...but on day 7 suddenly my skin was better and smooth looking..I'm so happy for the results! I use the sensitive skin kit since my skin is quite sensitive to many facial products...and I apply the lotion and cream only once in the morning and facial wash twice in the morning and at night...I recommend using the cotton ball to apply the lotion so you can take off the dead skin and have fairer skin by the end of the day...I did not apply the lotion and cream at night because I like my skin to be chemical free when I'm sleeping..

  • Mama Reviews - all useful in their own ways

This is a lovely set of make up brushes. These brushes are not only good looking, but they are also very soft on my face. They are made of good quality materials, and they seem sturdy, I don't think that I will have to replace these for a while as long as I take good care of them. Here are the brushes that are included-

  • whencanigo - Power button failed after one use; no customer service

I ordered this steam mop from Costco because I had read reviews here about the extremely poor customer service, and Costco has a "satisfaction guaranteed" return policy. Within a day of receiving this Haan, I used it for my tile kitchen floor with no problems. Then I used the detachable holder for the bathroom shower tile. After about 15 minutes on the bathroom tile, the power went off. I plugged the cord into a different outlet - no power. I waited overnight and plugged in to yet another outlet - no power. I immediately called customer service and waited on hold for 20 minutes, to then get a recording that said "try back when we're not as busy, from 3-5 PM", whereupon I was disconnected. So I did that; the customer service rep instructed me to hold down the power button 3 different times, for 30 seconds each time. No power, once I released the button. Then was instructed to hold down for 2 minutes. No power after release. I asked if this was a known problem, and he said it was. He said he would start the return process for me, but that I would have to pay for return shipping myself (as other reviewers had stated). I said "You shipped a defective product, and I have to pay for return shipping?", and he replied, "yes."
