Hair One works great if you can' t afford the high expense of the Chaz Dean WEN products. I so happen to treat myself to WEN every-now-and- then when they offer it on "easy pay" on QVC; however, I must say that Hair One products work just as well. I would highly recommend Hair One products!
I purchased this to help store away winter clothes and bedding during the summer months in North Carolina. I have a tiny house, and when it's 95 degrees at 8 AM, I don't want to dig through all the sweaters in my closet to find a blouse to wear to work. So I was really excited when the first few bags I filled up compressed perfectly and snuggled underneath my bed for storage. However, a few of the bags seemed to have a loose seam or a faulty sealer ring around the pump port. After a day or two, some of the bags had inflated again while others remained perfectly compressed. I love the bags I ended up with that actually work, but since I bought a set of multiple bags and only some of them work...3 stars!
I fell for the advertising and bought the cooktops (2). They work well with my Allclad cookware. That was over a year ago. I literally use these every day, now. I haven't used my kitchen stove in a year! (well, I still use the oven.) The ONLY downside to these is the size of the hearing coil inside. It's about 6" in diameter (at least the PIC and the PIC 2 are 6") so larger pots don't heat as evenly and it takes a long time to boil a large pot of water. I don't know if the coils in the latest versions are larger. But they work flawlessly. And when it comes to deep frying they're great. The really do keep the oil temp steady.
