Ordered the I3 model as the Celeron was not available from Amazon at the time. I am very impressed with the speed of startup - 5 seconds! I was hesitant about ordering when I heard that Toshiba was discontinuing sales in the US but I reasoned that at least there would be no next model to envy and being the last and best model available it should hold its value for a while so I was willing to get the most powerful version with the I3 processor. I read the complaints that some had but it seems that any manufacturing issues have been fixed. There was no light bleed at the edges, no fan noise no trackpad looseness and no excessive heat from the bottom or the power supply. The screen does not have excessive glare and the colors pop nicely. I plan on using it indoors and a tablet when outside anyway. The quality of the screen is better than the Dell Chromebook and it is smaller and weighs less. It is a plastic case but a very nice plastic and there is no excessive flex. With the I3 it is still cheaper than the Dell with a Celeron. Also it is one of the few Chrome books that offer a full size SD card slot, most offer microsd and what good is that if my cameras are all regular SD.
This is a different twist on the current zoomable flashlight, which is interesting to have. Instead of pulling or pushing to zoom in and out, this one has a dial on the front to turn for the zoom function. It works rather well, and takes less effort this way, although it does make a bit of a clicking noise when I zoom. It actually turns a little bit too far and makes a strange glow if I turn it all the way, but one simple click back, and it is in the place it is supposed to be. Not a problem at all, but I thought I had broken the light when I first did it. Thankfully, it is NOT broken and it works great! It is bright enough for my purposes and the zoom is helpful for shining it on objects or areas of different distance. The light seems reasonably sturdy and strong. Also, the light is a bit smaller in diameter than some of my other lights, and it fits into my pocket and purse a bit easier. I keep this one in my jacket pocket for when I go outside for a walk since it fits my pocket so well. It’s interesting, very useful and it works great, so I am glad to have had the chance to try it!
Rich, very subtle calendula smell, works GREAT. It's WAY smoother and creamier than other diaper creams so we love it. Or does not contain fragrance, the very mild smell is from the plant.
This product works wonders for teaching baby to fall asleep, while weaning him off his dependency on nursing/rocking.
Great - a necessity. I lost count of the number of other visitors we saw holding this book and other RS books in other languages in Rome, Florence & Venice. I had to stifle a laugh when I saw one US couple who had tabbed the book nearly to death! My mother is a first time international traveler and would have been unprepared if she had not read this book.
