  • BobA - Excellent and well researched

This is a well researched, good reading account of Ernest Shackleton's ill-fated Endurance voyage which was the Weddell-side of the "Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition" the other half being the vessel Aurora in McMurdo Sound and which does a nice job of helping the reader to come to know the men, the dogs and Shackleton himself.

  • CRexgirl - So imaginative, and what an adventure!

This book sucked me in from the very first couple of pages, and kept me riveted until the end. About three-quarters of the way through it I was enjoying it so much, and so desperately didn't want this story to end, that I was compelled to find a way to contact the author. I was able to find his email address and sent him a note thanking him for such a wonderful story and asking him to please write a sequel. I was thrilled that he wrote back!

  • Solange - Essential

A must have as a novice in the world of finance. It covers the basics and explains everything in order and lay terms as well as introduces finance world vocabulary terms.

  • T. Bagrowski - Works Great

I've owned one of these for about 3 years now. It has been a Great Oven and I would recommend getting the Extender Ring, The Ring came in handy when I did my Turkey, Which turned out perfect.

  • Dren - Awesome products for a reasonable price

Why am absolutely amazed that the stainless steel Tumblr really does keep your food cold for over 24 hours. I put some tea with some ice in it at 8:00 PM and at 10 o'clock the following day p.m. My beverage was so cold. This product is made of a heavy stainless steel and as well insulated the stainless steel straw that comes with it makes the beverage even colder as you drink it. The contour of this cup fits your hands very well and I love the fact that there's two lids in case you lose one. The only common then I find with this cop for tumble The contour of this cup fits your hands very well and I love the fact that there's two lids in case you lose one. The only common then I find with this cup or Tumblr is that it should also come with an extra strong as I have lost mine and can't find it and I am absolutely devastated. Therefore I may have to buy another cup so that I have an extra one to fall back on. I received this At a discounted price in exchange for an honest opinion and review and my opinion is that this tumblr is just as good if not better than other expensive brands.

  • Ziln - For readers of literary fiction.

Collected in this book are some of the best stories I've ever read, but if you're not a reader of literary fiction, you might miss the point of a lot of them and think they're "dull" simply because the narrative isn't as flashy or "clever" as the stack of mystery novels you blazed through on your Florida beach vacation. If you read for good writing, powerful emotional hooks, and all around good storytelling, then this is certainly worth looking through. There is some really incredible writing on display here from some true masters of the craft. Some of these stories moved me to tears, most of them had me saying "Damn..." to an empty room after I read the last word.

  • Jaylia - 26 wonderfully written personal essays

I don't read this collection of essays every year, but each time I do I wonder why I ever skip one. This year there are twenty-six essays from sources as well known as the New Yorker and The Paris Review to sources I had never heard of before including Hotel Amerika and River Teeth. Like everyone, I enjoyed some essays more than others, but most are beautifully written and many are reflective accounts of personal experiences--a favorite genre for me and a nice antidote to the news cycle. Among my favorites are Night by Alice Munro, the recent winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, Sometimes a Romantic Notion by Richard Schmitt and Confessions of an Ex-Mormon by Walter Kirn.
