I use this in the car to hook up my phone to the speakers. It has worked pretty well so far, the main issue has been with the unit failing to pair with my iPhone 6. Sometimes I have to go into the bluetooth settings to manually connect to the receiver, and sometimes I don't. I'm not sure what makes it work or not yet. Other than that, it would be nice to have it power on automatically when it receives power; as it is I have to turn it on every time I get into the car. I don't know what the battery life is since it's always plugged it, but I haven't had any issues with reception or weird sounds while using it for the last 9 months.
I used this to convert the standard smaller VESA mount (75x75) that I had on a monitor stand to the larger 200x100 that the monitor accepted but I also had to purchase additional mounting bolts (and nuts) on Amazon to make it work.
A little fun connecting brackets but fits well and does what this is designed to do. I will say this, If you can afford the full windshield then buy full. While driving rain will still come threw the front space but I knew that going in with this purchase
