  • https://patientswewillneverforget.wordpress.com/about/ About | Patients I Will Never Forget - As an Internist with over twenty-five years of experience, I have accumulated a plethora of humorous, touching, miraculous, frightening, and embarrassing stories.  With this thought in mind, I started a blog in 2011. Comments about my blog were so encouraging that I submitted six of my stories to "Chicken Soup for the Soul," and all…

With time and innovation they can evolve into the “must-have” televisions, smart phones, and iPads of today. Take, for example, the first Model T. The earliest cars had radiators that froze and exploded in the cold of New England winters. Treadless tires got stuck in…
  • https://patientswewillneverforget.wordpress.com/2015/06/01/why-doctors-run-behind-schedule/ Why Doctors Run Behind Schedule | Patients I Will Never Forget - What is the number one complaint of patients about their doctors? Their miserably long wait time. “Why can’t you doctors stay on schedule?” an angry patient once hurled at me. Why, indeed! Yes, in a perfect world, I would see patients in a timely manner. But here’s a typical Monday morning: 8:00 AM: The first…

Sure enough, twenty minutes later, in rushed Barbara, her upper lip swollen to five times its normal size. She whispered…

Nurses and doctors quickly administered nitroglycerin, morphine, and aspirin, and after confirming with blood tests and EKG that Howard was having a massive heart attack, they consulted a cardiologist. Since I was…

According to the books, disciplining children was a cinch: set reasonable and clear boundaries, use time-outs, and divvy out firm but consistent consequences mixed with encouragement and affection. How hard can it be? Now a self-proclaimed expert on all things pediatric,…

  • Darrick - It handles like a sports car

It handles like a sports car, but not as fast. It has a very smooth and quite ride considering it sits low to the ground on 15" tires. But, most importantly I'm averaging 70 miles per gallon. Yes, this is no typing error...70 miles per gallon. I fill my tank up once a week when my car hits a half tank. Because of the 11 gallon tank it only takes about $12 -$14 dollars per week, or less than $60 a month. I stand 5'11" tall and I have plenty of room to stretch out my legs and the back seats have just as much room. This is the perfect car for people, like me, who commute 40 -50 miles per day. The Prius Two Eco.

  • Mom of Twins - THIS IS THE EXCEL BOOK YOU WANT.

BEST software book EVER, and I've bought quite a few. After only one reading (and doing the exercises from the CD) I was able to generate pivot tables that were useful to my work. Been doing pivot tables ever since. Also very helpful with all the advanced Excel features that I never took the time to learn (or was using badly, such as making charts. Get this version, which has practice spreadsheets along with a PDF version of the book that you can load on your laptop.

  • pixels and bits - Not a fan of the strawberry mint.

Yeah - I thought I's like this more than I did. I'm not loving the strawberry mint experience. However, the soap is nice to use as it's the typical high quality you get from Olay. The bar is small. I like that it has a deep curve in the shape as it keeps it from sitting in water and getting yucky. It's "ok". In another fragrance, I would give it at least one more star. Maybe two.

  • P. L. Bliven - Very Comfortable Boot

I got these for my husband as a work boot for his job and he loves them. He did find them to run a tad narrow and had to a Wide. But he does love them and find them very comfortable!!!!
