A great salve I have used on minor cuts burns etc for 50 plus years. Only difference is that 50 years ago it was only about $2 a jar.
I bought this because I love Earth Mama Angel Baby products (the nipple butter and diaper cream have been godsends for us this first year of parenting!) and also because I discovered the Skin Deep database through the Environmental Working Group (EWG). This database ranks products based on the toxicity of their ingredients, and I immediately evaluated all the products in my house, especially those I use with my son. I didn't like the Honest Company body wash I was using with him (I felt it was too scented), so I hit the database and found this as an option. It foams, which he loves, and it doesn't take much to get him all clean, including his hair!
I have a chronic illness and between my illness and my medications, my skin really takes a beating. I deal with dryness, blemishes and sensitivity from time to time and have never been able to find a product that can adequately address and cover well without looking heavy. This product does everything it says it will and looks flawless all day long!!!! I can't say enough good things about It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness concealer. The fact that it does all of that AND treats skin with great ingredients is almost too good to be true. I will be a fan for life!
I have been using Kids 'N' Pets for many years with great results. My five kids are now nearly grown and we currently use it mainly for pet accidents. I have learned not to leave the carpet soaking wet when I use it. When it is applied lightly and most of the liquid is blotted out, there is no stain or odor. I highly recommend this product.
As a practicing physician I can say that the author added to my body of knowledge on gut health. My main criticism is that she makes a categorical statement that she's never met a healthy vegetarian. I beg to differ. I myself am vegetarian and am healthy. Coming from a vegetarian culture I have many friends and relatives who are also vegetarian and are healthy. And may I remind her readers that The Adventist Health Study is an ongoing observational study that has been documenting the health advantages of vegetarianism for years. The National Geographic in 2007 did an article on 3 pockets of longevity in the world. The 3 locations were Loma Linda, CA with a high percentage of retired Adventists, Okinawans, and Hunzas. Clearly there ARE people who are vegetarian and are healthy.
