Barry is BACK, kicking a.. and taking names, reminding EVERYONE why he is one of the most successful singer/songwriters of all time! If you are a Bee Gees fan, you will love, love, LOVE this album!!! It's quintessential Barry; truly in his element. There is something for everyone here, even if you aren't a die-hard fan. It's got sort of a country-rock and pop feel all in one that gives the listener a glimpse into Barry's heart and thoughts at this point of his life. The fact that his sons, Stephen and Ashley were instrumental to this album gives it almost an eerily familiar Bee Gees tone that is easily recognized by the fans and is still contemporary and enjoyable for even the casual listener. Every single song on this album is wonderful but the standouts to me, are: In The Now, Grand Illusion, Blowin a Fuse, Home Truth Song, Amy in Colour, Soldier's Son, The Long Goodbye and End of The Rainbow. The Long Goodbye and End of the Rainbow are tearjerkers in the truest sense of the word, so don't listen to those without Kleenex nearby.
I saw him sing Nobody But Me on TV and it's not a rap song but a lively, fun to dance to song. Bublé is the greatest!!
