Kelly breaks things down so even a novice can understand. After breaking it down he builds up to more advanced theories. He doesn't assume a base line of knowledge and doesn't make you feel like an idiot for not knowing basic terms. This book stood out to me against the rest because he doesn't have a particular brand or magazine he is selling. He covers many different theories, investors, tools, and publications. He explains the benefits and downfalls of each and lets the reader decide. I am 70% through and have really enjoyed this book. Thank you Jason Kelly.
I was skeptical when I bought this, but decided it was worth a try. I have been using it for several weeks, about every other night while watching TV. I have seen wrinkles decrease in depth and saggy jowls get tighter. I'm really glad I took a chance on this, I'm a believer now.
The book wasn't bad. It was a quick read and I liked the plot. However, it was a bit repetitive and I swear to god how many times can one write "her baby". Never her daughter, her kid, her child, Cora (kids name). 3 times on every page "her baby". I started to keep count. Tooooooo much
Just what I was looking for. The extended size allows for a nice area to work on. I'm primarily using it for 12x12 scrapbook layouts, and it's nice to not have to move my page each time I need to fussy cut or trim embellishments. Quick shipping and everything was as expected.
"Good to Great" by Jim Collins is all about transforming average companies to great companies. Collins and his research team selected eleven great companies and contrasted with their comparison companies (who they feel are average) to understand why some companies make the leap and some don't. The team discovered that to be a good to great company needs to have a Level 5 leadership. Level 5 leaders are leaders who are humble, fanatically driven, understand the need to produce sustained results and they set their successors for even greater success in the future. The leaders also understand the need to get the right people in their organization before figuring out where to drive it. As Collin puts it "First who, then what."
At 55 years of age I've never played an instrument before and I don't think I would have ever tried if I hadn't purchased a copy of Rocksmith 2014 for my wife. Watching her learn using this package inspired me to give it a try and I'm making slow but steady progress. The breadth of features such as the arcade games, technique lessons and song tracks to play keep you coming back and the way that Rocksmith analyzes your progress and suggests things for you to do that are appropriate for your current skill level lowers the frustration that learning an instrument seem to entail.
Comes with 3 sets of silicone earbuds, which is nice. Sound is good for $30 headphones. Offers decent bass for most types of music. Only thing I would complain is how the volume control pad dangles and tugs while I'm working out at the gym.
