There is no question that since using this fertilizer for my lawn the lawn has been a much deeper green, and I don't have to worry at all about any burning of the lawn. I really only use starter fertilizer when planting new seeds and this fertilizer on my lawn, and it's grown into a really nice thick, green, hardy lawn. But yeah, you can probably get it at Home Depot for less than half the price. I guess it's so expensive online because it's so heavy to ship?
