Very simple tool for testing electrical outlets. I have an old home that had to pass a city inspection before selling. This tool helped me to identify which outlets the previous owner installed without a ground so I could correct it before another reinspection. It also easily tested my gfci outlets as well. The legend on the front of the tester simply tells you what the combination of lights mean once you plug it in.
PCMatic is a scam -- pure and simple. The software is designed to look like it's doing something, with flashy status bars, and a colorful "report" of all the bugs that need fixing. The commercial appeals to people's fears that their computers are infected with viruses. In reality, PCMatic is designed only to delete the money in your wallet.
