I bought this for my daughter because she has very sensitive skin. It works well as a body wash, but is not great as a shampoo - her hair just didn't look or smell washed. The packaging leaks terribly. If it falls over, even with the lid closed and tightly screwed on, you will lose nearly 1/2 the bottle if left on its side. I forgot about that and took it on a vacation and it made a huge mess. We have since found another brand that we like better, but I have a couple of bottles left since I bought them in bulk trying to save money. It would probably be a good product for babies - without much hair. The company just really needs to work on the packaging.
I bought a few cans of these right off the bat due to the reviews. I should have bought more. This stuff is awesome!!!!!!! I am a smoker and it's been some serious time since I did the inside window of my minivan or outside for that matter. Not only did I not take my time and try to get it perfect for once, I really did a quick and sloppy job in a hurry just to make it easier to see since the sun was hitting the grime in and out and truly obstructing my view. I was amazed at how clean and streak free it got my window but not just overall, in how half*ss I did it and they still came that clean. I have not put this stuff down since and have given away 2 of the 4 cans in excitement to show everyone else and I do not usually do that. It really does work as well as they say it does. I am in love!!!!
I have this stroller for 2 years now and love it. I registered for the much more expensive Peg Pliko Switch- and used that while my daughter was in the infant seat. My mother-in-law picked this stroller up to have a cheap stroller around for when she babysat. (***We only paid $199 for it- and that's what the price was for a while, don't know why it's up to $299- maybe because it's the older model???) I ended up taking it from her. Once my daughter was out of the infant seat, the Switch was just way too heavy and way too difficult to maneuver. The Vela is so lightweight- I can fold it with one hand holding a child in the other. The three wheel design and single handlebar also makes it easy to maneuver with one hand, which is actually really important to a multi-tasking mother. The stroller is a bit unstable- if you are hanging something from the handlebar and there is no child in it, it will tip backwards and one time my daughter was asleep in it with the seat reclined and as I pushed it I put a little weight on the handle and it tipped backwards. But of the millions of times I used it day in and day out, those situations are easy to avoid. The positives and the price more than make up for that. Another thing I don't love is the canopy on top- if the seat is all the way reclined the canopy comes unsnapped, which I think is intentional but I wish it was designed a bit differently. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it is a little bit cheap- my right side wheel break doesn't work anymore- but I bet if I got down there and looked around I could reconnect it. I'm not complaining though- the price is so reasonable for such a good stoller, I would buy another one but I don't want the new design with the 4 wheels- the 3 wheel is where it's at. This stroller has made my life considerably easier after the Switch. I'm expecting a second child in December and I'm going to forego the Switch all together and put the infant seat on the Vela.
I swear by this book. Currently studying for STEP1. I would be completely lost if it wasn't for this book. However, while this may be used as a primary source for information, you can't expect to pass with ONLY this material. UWorld is a MUST. Generally, First Aid + UWorld (and maybe Goljan if you have time) is sufficient.
I have no idea if this is actually working or not, but I can say that the product I received matches what is described. I wouldn't agree that it's flavorless, but it only has a very slight taste and it's nothing unpleasant. The little packets make it easy to use. It also dissolves pretty easily, though I always seem to end up with a little bit at the bottom of my glass so once I add the powder to water I try to drink it quickly- it's a fine powder so I usually don't even notice the undissolved bit.
