I had the game on pre-order as well and after finding out about the DRM they choose, I canceled. It really saddens me that the decisions made by the execs at EA ruined all the hard work by Wright and his team. What I really don't understand is who they think they are stopping. I would gladly hand over more than $50 to have this game without unwanted spyware wrapped as DRM. Did they stop the pirates from getting a copy onto the web? Not even a little bit. Did they stop a legitimate customer from actually purchasing their product? Indeed they did.
First, let me address noise... THERE IS NONE. Anyone who says otherwise has a sadly defective one, or the noise is from something else in the room. Its plastic, but nicely made. It doesn't look of feel like a piece of Chinese junk. (Though it probably IS made in China... its not the typical garbage we often see) It cools well. I don't plan to use the warming feature, so I cant remark on it. It worth the extra few dollars for sure.
The jaw dropping action starts immediately...with an everyman kind of guy as hero. The special effects sequences in LA are not to be missed. Nice background story of our hero growing as a man, and showing everyone he is responsible and can act when necessary, even if he is scared to death. My favorite action-special effects movie!! Bit of comedy thrown in provides a little comic relief,
Mats look great, but do not fit the retention posts on my 2012 SRX. Adam at Yates Performance was very helpful, but after weeks of sending emails and photos I still did not get a return, reimbursement or replacement. The mats do not stay securely in place, and in my opinion are not worth the money paid for " custom fit " mats.
Our friend really liked this book which we were a bit surprised by. It wasn't a perfect gift in our minds, but he immediately started reading it out loud to us. I think it would make a great gift for anyone who likes random facts.
I purchased this yesterday and input the code on xbox.com, but it does not show up in my games in the xbox app on Windows 10. I've tried installing the Anniversary update and any other updates available. Just spent over an hour with MS support who could not help either. Totally infuriating.
