I did not buy this on Amazon, rather at a local electronics store. I was looking at a $600 Samsung with 120hz refresh rate, then I found this one. I've bought a basic 32 inch LG for the bedroom and liked what they have. The Motion Clarity Index is a little misleading. This has an MCI of 120 (slick one, marketing department...) but it is a 60hz TV. So the question is, can you tell??? If it is more than 32 inches, I want at least 120hz for what I say is a decent quality picture. I used a bluray copy of Man Of Steel to test it and I was not disappointed. You will not be able to tell. The only thing on this TV I would improve on is simply the need for a soundbar if you are a movie buff. LED TVs simply don't have the cabinet space for decent speakers. They are fine for regular TV watching, but invest in a soundbar at least. That is next on my wish list. Overall.... Buy this TV! $400 for 42 inches that doesn't have a brand name you have never heard of is totally worth it. LG has made a mark on my house and the next will be an LG 4k TV with webOS I saw. They have a good product. Now if I can just get my wife to watch another TV so I can pick the movie...
I was very excited with this product until I found out how limited it is using Kodi, I own other android boxes and was willing to use this one for its capacity and superiority. I am a long time user of Kodi, knowing this box had Kodi pre installed made me happy, not because I do not know how to load it but because it meant time saving!! I was mistaken! One of the BIG FLAWs is that this box has only one option for subtitles "open subtitles.org" that is mostly for English. Kodi has so many other options for subtitles in other languages, not english only, that were taken away of this box and can not be loaded, as Tech support said. So if your family members speak, want to learn or want subtitles in any other language this box is not the right choice. Same happened with other add ons not included, tech support stated that this box was not designed to load any Kodi content you want, but only the pre installed stuff.. what?? Kodi is a daily changing environment. It probably makes life easier for Kodi newbies but it is not what a full Kodi user would want.
The book arrived bent so the cover isn't great but since it was for a class it didn't really matter. If it would have been for my book collection i would have been disappointed though.
After reading favorable reviews about Wet & Forget, I decided to try it on a large concrete patio with a chronic algae problem. I didn't expect much, and I'm absolutely delighted with the results. In the past, I've tried household bleach and swimming pool chlorine, both of which required laborious scrubbing with a stiff broom or brush, lots of rinsing, and ended up damaging the plants in the beds surrounding the patio. I also tried oxygen bleach, which didn't damage the plants, but didn't work very well either. I applied Wet & Forget with a tank sprayer, carefully following instructions, a day before rain was expected. It didn't work immediately, but a couple of days after the rain when the patio was dry, the improvement was dramatic. About a month later, I reapplied the product on a couple of spots that had a particularly bad algae buildup, and following another rain, these also cleared up. I recommend Wet & Forget without hesitation!
This is a nice mix of new characters and old, with a look at some serious issues, but with the always expected humor, too. Enjoyed very much and looking forward to more in this great series.
Best software I've ever used was Zone Alarm. I would still be using it if they had a CD again 2 yrs ago. I always buy a new CD every year instead of just a subscription. That way, if my computer dies, I don't have to download 5 yrs worth of updates, just install the CD and this yr's updates.
