(Also posted on Goodreads) I loved this book. Though I rarely read these collections straight through, this book had an incredible mix of voices. Each story grabbed me from the first paragraph, and I was introduced to some writers I’d never read before, but will be on the lookout for in the future. This is a book you want to own – I checked this book out from the library, but I plan to buy my own copy. Writers like Megan Mayhew Bergman, Justin Bigos, Jess Walter, Diane Cook, and Sarah Kokernot will keep you turning the pages, marveling at these terrific stories.
Stubbled upon this brand of lotion while shopping for little travel-sized items for my trip. Thank God I did! Working in the health care industry, I am constantly washing my hands, which causes my hands to dry out... badly. This product is amazing. It is thicker than your typical lotion, which I love because I feel that it remains on the skin longer and is able to have time for it do to what it needs to do to actually nourish your skin. Within a few applications, I could see a huge difference in the appearance of the skin on my hands. My skin is soft, the tiny wrinkles that used to cover my entire hand and back-side of my fingers are not as prominent. Even after I have washed my hands and have not reapplied the lotion, they still look great. I feel like my hands look years younger. I am very pleased with this product and will be sticking with it.
Instead of doing New Year's Resolutions, I pick a theme I want to work on for each year. Last year my theme was focus. The goal was to simplify my life so my energy would be focused at a few critical goals instead of dispersed among many good, but not so important goals. Ever since I finished the year of focus, I've been interested in continuing to explore a simpler life. Because of this, I was eager to read Bill Hybel's book, Simplify: Ten Practices to Unclutter Your Soul.
This is a nice wireless mouse...very light weight and the batteries that are included are rechargeable. I have noticed that the batteries do not last as long between charges even though the mouse does go into sleep mode when not in use. Requires a micro usb receiver to be plugged into one of your USB ports. The receiver is not large or obtrusive, but it does take up one of the USB ports. It works well for me, but some will find the receiver in a USB port to be a problem. I was able to purchase this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I received this product for little or no cost for my review. Item is Just as described, very impressed with packaging and seems to be very well made, very pleased with this product and delivered very fast,faster than expected. I would recommend this item to anyone who want a quality well made product.
It does what it is supposed to do, repel water. Yet, it ruined my nice leather boots by coloring it metallic. Should NOT be used on leather and wouldn't recommend buying it. Don't want to try it on wood or metal and also not sure how to get it off.
