Explains well how the digestion works, how the gut bacteria lining the gut walls digest food and kill pathogens that come with food, and how this lining becomes like a swiss cheese, full of holes when we take antibiotics, stress, etc.
An interesting story, although a generous portion was a repeat from a prior book. I do want to follow up on some of the people he mentioned anyway. Jon Ronson hangs out with some really weird characters!
Great book with abundant knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Any Afrikan trying to improve their health and consciousness should definitely purchase this book. It is a great stepping stone in your expedition for a wholistic lifestyle.
These shoes are great, I live in South Dakota so I wanted something I could wear during our typically long, snowy winter...perfect. I haven't worn another shoe since I got these and I probably won't until about May. I have special insoles that I wear so I can't speak to the comfort of the shoe the way they come out of the box, but these are very comfortable and not every shoe is even with my insoles so I have to think they are pretty good the way they come. Very well constructed and they look pretty cool too. I've got a Harley and these should work pretty good on the bike as well. Very satisfied with these and the other 2 pair of Merrells I own.
Absolutely a wonderful product and tool. Worked perfect for our major remodel. Did everything it claims to do. Took a bit of practice to get it to do what we needed and had a few things we would change like bathroom sink could only be positioned in center of counter. Still feel you won't be disappointed.
