I buy these stars every year. The only issue was the price. I could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere had I shopped around, but it's a beautiful ornament and I will continue to collect them.
I got the NeatDesk for PC in February of 2012, buying in to the commercial's hype. This is the single purchase that has made me commit to never again buying something without first checking reviews. As you can see from others, I am not alone in having endless problems with this thing, and I suspect most, if not all of the glowing reviews are fake, generated by the company itself.
My daughter saw this puppy at a friend's birthday and fell in love with it. The puppy's animatronic face is really emotive and the middle is fairly soft. It is a tad heavy for all the mechanics inside. The reason I gice it 4 stars is that after owning it for a week now, the puppy eats batteries alive after a couple hours of playing with it. Since it only uses 4 AAA batteries, it doesnt really have a lot of juice for sustained play. Aside from the batery life, this product is wonderful :)
I spent a long time researching hardtail 29er bikes when I decided to buy one. The LBS had bikes in my price range but with inferior component groups and mechanical rather than hydraulic disc brakes. The Diamondback had the best component group and hydraulic disc brakes for the price I wanted to pay. 10 speed cassette for this price is unheard of. The frame got wonderful reviews online and I agree it is solid. Assembling the bike is more complicated than road bikes because of the disc brakes and a more detailed instruction guide would have been helpful. The brake pads squeal some as they are braking in but the noise stopped after about 20 miles. Rolls over everything in its path and faster climbing than my old 26inch dual suspension Trek. The ride is bumpier because it is a hardtail but is considerably lighter. I have read that 29ers can be slower to turn in tight situations but did not find that to be the case with mine. My only complaint is the cheap seat that came with the bike. I also replace the pedals immediately with clip ins. Good value on Amazon.
This could be the best amp in the world. I would not know because Hifonics sent me not one, not two, but three defective amps! I opted to get a pioneer amp instead and I have had zero problems with. The problems have ranged from the amps just not getting power, to just no screws in the amp!
This provides a fine surface to use with my rotary cutter, but I have only used it a few times and already there are several gouges in it. I guess I was expecting a little more "healing" from the "self-healing" cutting mat. Also I would say that I am disappointed in the thickness/clearness of the lines on the mat. I have a hard time seeing them through even a thin quilting cotton, and anything thicker and it is impossible. I bought this with the grid thinking it would help with laying things out and ensuring straight cuts. But the markings are hard to discern, which leaves me measuring, marking, and drawing lines still before I cut anything. Finally, as other reviewers have stated, this product gives off a very strong plastic smell that is pervasive and persistent. It smacked me in the face as soon as I opened the package and has continued even after three washes and sitting in my garage to air for a couple weeks. All in all I would not recommend this item to anyone, but it serves the purpose of saving my counters and cutting boards when I need to trim fabric, so I will not completely knock it.
There are better blades than this for field work but most are much more expensive. This knife is well made and has a tough handle. The sheath is a bit loose but for backpack carry is fine. It's sharp and holds an edge well. For skinning and boning it works well and it's big enough to get a stong hold on, it's a bit slick when doing messy jobs.
