  • K. Hughes - Nice shampoo but leaky cap and little orange smell

I like this shampoo--does a nice job with my fine hair, I think it seems a bit fuller after using this. However, I don't really get any orange scent at all with this product. I don't like strong fragrances or perfumes in my products, so the very light scent this has is a good thing, but the very light scent does not seem to smell at all like oranges. And I have had blood oranges, so I know what they smell like.

  • Samiram - Fantastic!

This CD is the best recording of Jesus Christ Superstar to be made yet. I have listened to all of the different albums and the only one that comes close is the original concept album. Because this CD was made in 1996, it has a "newer" feel and the quality of the sound is amazing. The concept version has an older, more funky feel because it was made in 1970. If you like the older, funkier sound, the concept album is a good choice, but this one is the best in my opinion. The vocals are astounding, especially by Steve Balsamo as Jesus. He can hit the high notes perfectly. He makes Glenn Carter (2000 revival's Jesus)look like an amateur. Judas is played by Zubin Varla who has a gruff yet beautiful quality to his voice. Mary Magdalene played by Joanne Ampil is good (a lot better than Yvonne Elliman in my opinion) but she doesn't have an edge to her voice that makes her interesting or unique like Steve Balsamo and Zubin Varla. The supporting characters are sung very good as well. The other versions pale in comparison, especially the original soundtrack which is almost unlistenable because of Ted Neeley. Like I said earlier, the thing that sets this CD apart from the Concept recording is the quality of the sound. The vocals might even be better on the concept album, but this is the one to go with.

  • Dusty Books - The New Yorker! Enough said.

I had read The New Yorker for years, and then stopped subscribing because I felt I was too busy to read a magazine. I probably am, but a grad student friend and then a professor mentioned that reading the magazine makes you a better writer. Time will tell on that score, but I am really enjoying it so far. I ordered both the paper and electronic edition and last evening I had a story read to me by Tom Hanks! Lazy, I know - but a bedtime story no less. This magazine is probably the best there is for news, opinion, arts, new poetry, and new fiction. So glad I subscribed already.

  • Rashida Jones - BUYER BEWARE!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! The positive reviews are likely imposters. This supplement causes severe abdominal discomfort & cramping! I was awakened out of my sleep from the pain, and it lasted for several days. Eventually went to the hospital. Initially had no idea what it was coming from until it was realized Probioslim was the only new element introduced to my body. I stopped taking it, and the pain went away. I poured the remaining capsules into the garbage!

  • J. Goebel - Excellent story for our times! Here be spoilers!

I was enthralled at first -- weaving an intricate story of lust, betrayal and murder, with characters you had genuine emotion for -- but then near the end, the author makes a chilling plot twist I never saw coming. The main protagonist? He was dead the whole time! It made one go back and re-read looking for all the tiny clues to this outcome they may have missed! Even though I let the cat out of the bag on the major plot twist, there's still plenty more -- the toilet seat was a sled, water is lethal to the aliens, a secret service agent is one of the terrorists, they actually make you care about the otherwise evil Firefly family -- that makes it worth the read.
