I really enjoyed the way the story opens. There are events unfolding in the present and flashbacks that provide some backstory. I am not a science buff, and though the technologies are very cool, I am drawn more to the relationships developing among the characters: power struggles and budding romance, crisis management and heroic rescues, suspicion and trust, aggression and affection, self-doubt and soul searching. Six explorers of sorts on a mission to investigate a mysterious spacecraft have to prepare themselves to face any number of adversities at their destination, but also overcome the trials of spending 10 months in a small transport with micro gravity and even less privacy. Tensions are high when they dock, and things quickly go downhill from there. Will they be able to work together to make contact, complete their mission, and return home, or will they get in each other's way? When they find another force at play, who will determine if it is friend or foe? Will emotions interfere with duties? Can a budding romance survive a shift in power? Will all my questions be answered, or will I have to wait for the sequel?
I used this stuff for my tattoo under my boobs. I put a thick layer on an hour/ an hour and a half before and covered it with cling wrap. I made sure to put the product beyond where the tattoo would go just for good measure. It worked wonders! Half the time the only thing I felt was the vibration of the tattoo gun. Definitely would recommend to everyone
Everything about ordering a Casper has been super easy and turnkey. It arrived mere days after we ordered it online, and was fun to open. We had heard great things about the mattress from friends and online reviews, so decided to give it a try. The first few nights we slept like the DEAD...slept through our 1 year old waking up in the middle of the night (a few times)...and felt amazingly rested upon waking. The effect has definitely lasted, and we have had the mattress several months now. The amount of springiness is as described, and while the motion is not fully absorbed like other memory foam brands, the springiness is the trade off there. Our only semi-complaint with the mattress is its' lack of edge support. While laying down, this is not a problem, but if you ever sit on the edge of your bed to tie your shoes in the morning (or something like that), you may not like the lack of support there. Otherwise, the mattress is very low profile, no smell, and very comfortable. We would highly recommend it!
I bought this to replace one that my son lost. I have one and had gotten him one. He somehow misplaced it but had commented that he was always using the knife. It cuts great and even though the drivers do not lock out, they are plenty stable enough to use on a regular basis. I carry this in a cordora case with an original Leatherman Tool and a flashlight every day.
I'm so happy with this book. Eee. I had such high hopes for it, despite not really knowing anything about it, lol. And I'm thrilled to say that this book was perfection. I'm so glad that I loved it. I just loved everything about it. Sigh. I wish that it had been a little bit longer, because I always want more, but I loved the ending.
